Tandory (Libertad 2855, Pocitos, Montevideo) – within the upscale district of Pocitos, this is one of the few restaurants in Montevideo serving really fine Asian food (including Indian, as well as Thai and Chinese). The atmosphere is intimate and elegant and there are vegetarian versions of most dishes available. Items served here include chicken curry, lenguado teriyaki, red naam, and pad thai.
